Professional Learning Programs

Professional learning programs havel been provided to District Office staff in relation to the implementation, reporting and analysis of results of MSE9. In addition, Professional Learning Guidelines have been developed for District Office staff so that they can support school staff in optimising the educational benefit of the assessments.

The Guidelines assist in

  • developing the capacity of teachers to analyse test results with particular reference to the underlying skills and understandings that students require to progress in their learning

  • integrating test results into classroom and school assessment and monitoring processes

Emphasis will be on planning at the individual student and whole-school level, as students move into Year 10.

District Office Curriculum Teams can assist schools to implement the Assessment for Improvement Program.  Click on the (pdf) link below to download the MSE9 Professional Guidelines.
