The MSE9 assessments take
place during weeks 3 and 4 of term three.
In 2007, the assessments are scheduled for Monday 6 August to Friday 17 August, 2007. All Western Australian government schools that have Year 9 students complete the assessments. As the assessments provide school information, partial-cohort testing is not offered and ALL Year 9 students participate in the Science, Mathematics and English assessments. Schools can administer the tests at any time during the assessment weeks as part of the normal school day and therefore teacher relief will not be required.
