This project trial provides support to high achieving Aboriginal students who are identified in Year 3 to maintain their achievement through to Year 7. Students in Year 4 in selected primary schools participate in a specialist science program that is designed to help them maintain their high results and reach their potential.
The trail is an in-school project that takes into account the unique cultural views, characteristics and circumstances of Aboriginal students. It provides students with a culturally inclusive program that develops literacy through Primary Connections, an interesting and challenging science program.
