Morley Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement

13 June 2013
Students proudly sponsored by the School Pathways Program

Over the past two years, a select group of students from Morley Senior High School have attended the Central Institute of Technology Campus in East Perth to study Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement. The course includes quality control, the process of taking samples and conducting site measurements. The highly practical and enjoyable course included identification of hazards in a range of environments, taking measurements of water and gas samples, wind speed, sound, air and ground temperatures, linked to occupation safety and health.

I urge future students to take this course, as it prepares young adults for the real world. Finally on behalf of all the students who participated I’d like to thank Mr Dale Longman (lecturer in charge), Mrs Fortune (Principal) and Ms Gail Manton and the team from the School Pathways Program for supporting us with sponsorship to pursue our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics pathway.
