Ballajura Community College (STEM) Student awards

The School Pathways Program – Defence Industries (SPPDI) facilitates and supports partnerships between schools and higher education, training and industry. The program works to enhance sustainable education and training pathways (vocational, paraprofessional and academic) to address the skills shortages in the defence and allied industry sector. The SPPDI, is also committed to increasing employer awareness of options for recruiting young people and the value of doing so.

On 25th March, three Year 12 students from Ballajura Community College received academic excellence awards from Cheryl Townsend (Principal, Ballajura Community College) on behalf of the SPPDI. The awards were given to encourage students to further their studies or careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) fields.
