About Us
The Swan District Education Office has administrative and support responsibility for all public schools in the Swan Education
District, which serves the north-east metropolitan and outer metropolitan area of Perth, Western Australia.
A comprehensive range of educational services are provided by teams of specialists in areas of Aboriginal
education, corporate services (finance
and human resources management),
curriculum, district administration, employee
support, inclusive education, operations,
participation, and student services.

There are 102 public schools with 1800 teaching staff and 1500 support staff providing educational programs for more than
38,000 students within the district.
