  • Australian Qualifications Framework
    This website provides a table listing the various levels of qualifications from Certificate I through to Doctoral degree – click on a level and it will take you to the relevant section. Scroll down a little way to locate descriptors of distinguishing features of that qualification plus the one above and below for comparison.
    Australian Industry Skills Councils
    Industry Skills Councils are mandated to bring together industry, educators and governments and unite them on a common industry-led agenda for action on skills and workforce development.

    Beginning or changing your career can be both an exciting and daunting time in anyone’s life. The Department of Training and Workforce Development website provides a wide range of information including exploring your interests and skills, industry information, study and training options. This site also includes a link to the ApprentiCentre on becoming an apprentice, trainee or cadet.
