Webmail and Calendar Services

Webmail and Calendar are browser-based services that allow you to access your Departmental email and calendar through a web browser (like Internet Explorer) from anywhere in the world and at any time of the day or night. The majority of WA public schools now have webmail, with a progressive rollout to remaining schools.

With an increasing mobile workforce access to a browser- based service provides the following benefits:

• You will be able to take your email address, contacts and calendar with you when you change schools or work locations – as long as you are moving to another Webmail school;
• Administration requirements will be reduced as only one email account will be created for you regardless of multiple work locations;
• You will also be able view your email via the internet when away from the work site;
• You will have access to one consolidated email address list for the entire department;
• Webmail provides a more stable messaging environment that has the capacity to handle all Central Office, Schools, District Education offices, Regional offices and TAFE Colleges.
