Access to Digital Resources

Through the DET Portal and the Online Teaching and Learning System (OTLS), teachers have access to a wide range of teaching resources from sources such as the Learning Federation, WestOne Services and the Department of Education and Training. These resources include digital learning objects, images, audio and video clips from national archives, information organisers and thinking tools for students, plus information about curriculum-related websites and print materials. 

To access Digital Resources from the DET portal:

  1. In your web browser, go to http://portal.det.wa.edu.au

  1. Select Log in.
  2. Enter your e-number and password. (NOTE: If you are unsure of your enumber or password, please seek assistance from your school administration)
  3. Read the ‘Appropriate Use of Online Services’ and agree to these requirements.
  4. Select Log in.
  5. Your portal page will load

  1. From the ‘My portal’ (home) page, click the Resources Tab to open the Resources page.

  1. On the Resources page, the Middle Column provides access to DET Resources Online. Enter keywords for your Search and tick selected check boxes to locate relevant resources. Click the GO button to commence the search.
