How can I help my gifted child?

There are many things you can do at home to help your gifted child reach their potential including:

  • providing your child with lots of opportunities to learn and try new things
  • providing your child with challenging tasks
  • helping your child develop skills needed to relate to friends who may not be gifted and talented
  • talking with your child about their talents, what it means to be gifted, and ways to deal with any difficulties that may arise
  • getting your child involved in gifted and talented programs
