Check out the Becoming an apprentice or Existing apprentices or Training in school pages. These are aimed towards younger audiences but they’ll give you a great idea of the options and benefits of becoming an apprentice or trainee.

It Pays to Learn Allowance

Parents of apprentices or trainees turning 16 or 17 in 2008 are eligible for an annual allowance of up to $400. You can find our more about the It Pays to Learn Allowance on the Department of Education and Training website.
