Policy and research aims to improve education and educational research in Aboriginal education by promoting the dissemination of quality information which addresses the key issues in Aboriginal education policy and practice.

Research informs the strategic thinking and policy development of Aboriginal education. It focuses on areas that are most important to improve the attendance, participation and outcomes of Aboriginal students.
