Welcome to the Department of Education and Training’s ANZAC Student Tour homepage.
The ANZAC Student Tour competition is open annually to students in Years 8-11. The tour is an opportunity for outstanding young ambassadors to represent Western Australia at ANZAC commemoration events.
Students are required to prepare an essay and, if successful, have the opportunity of progressing through to a final selection process which includes the presentation of a five minute speech and an interview.
The competition process commences at the beginning of Term 2 each year and concludes in November of the same year.
In 2009 the winning students will travel to France and Turkey to participate in an educational study tour and a number of ANZAC Day commemoration events. Past tours have travelled to France, England, Belgium, Turkey and Greece.
Further details about the competition process and each tour can be accessed on this site.
